The Horseman 3D camera

Horseman 3-D camera the two lensed Komamura

Using the same body, electronics and mechanics of the Fuji TX2/ Hasselblad X-Pan 2, but without format changing there was born the Horseman 3D which Komamura requested to be built by Fuji. (never shown in Fuji trademark).

First shown at PMA March 2006 it was an intelligent attempt to create a 3D camera using the full frame picture size that fulfils the European Stereo Standards of 2x 24x31.5mm picture size: Verascope, Belplasca, FED BOY Stereo. So, fitting the existing European type Stereo frames.

Due the higher electrical power demanded in the camera, a new grip was developed holding two CR2 batteries.

Using the same philosophy  of TX cameras Fuji decided to enter two size medium format cameras.

That way in February 2008 at Las Vegas PMA. Fuji presented the folding Fujifilm 6x7; and at Photokina 2010 the wide angle version of the same project.

Both were commercialized as Voigtländer 667 Bessa III.
