1920´s Hill´s Cloud Camera
with Hill Sky lens made by Beck London
An extreme rare item. Hill Sky lens is first fish eye lens in the
world. Focal length
near 1 inch (2.5cm) and image circle is
approximately 3 inch
(7.5cm).
This camera
was reconstructed and now uses Graflex grand glass back.
4X5 size. Can use plates or roll film (120 and 220).
Camera has built-in shutter. Speeds are: 1/100, 1/50, 1/25, 1/10, 1/5, 1/2, 1sec, B and T. Lens has built-in yellow filter. Apertures are 8, 11, 16, 22 and 32.

Hill designed the famous Hill lens (British pat n°225 398/1923) and was made by Beck. It covers 180° in a 6.5X9.5 cm plate and has stops from f8 to f32. gives 62mm diameter image picture It is the Landmark of fish-eye photo. It aimed was to pick in a single photograph the whole visible sky.
